A native of Split, Croatia, Dr. Skovrlj immigrated to the United States in 1999 as a Rotary Exchange student in Council Grove, KS. He went on to receive a basketball scholarship and completed his undergraduate studies at Clayton State University in Atlanta, GA where he played on the NCAA men’s basketball team and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005.
